What Is The Limitation Of TestComplete?

In this article we have discussed about the limitation of TestCompelte.

What Is The Limitation Of TestComplete?

SmartBear Software's TestComplete is an Automated UI Testing Tool that allows you to create, maintain, and execute functional tests across desktop, online, and mobile apps. TestComplete assists testers in developing test cases in various scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and others. It is the only tool you will ever require for test automation.

SmartBear's TestComplete is a testing tool for automating desktop, mobile, and web applications. We may generate, manage, and execute tests using this tool. Scripting languages supported include VBScript, Python, JScript, C++, and DelphiScript.

We have the opportunity to playback and record tests in TestComplete. The manual testing process is recorded and can be played back and handled as automated testing, unit testing, keyword testing, and regression testing.

TestComplete is an easy-to-use solution that allows software testing teams of all skill levels to easily create and execute automated test cases for mobile, desktop, and web applications. It enables us to shorten testing cycles, improve software quality, and ensure our apps perform as intended.

We may develop platform web tests in TestComplete 14.0. We use them to see how our website or web application operates on platforms, browsers, and devices that TestComplete does not natively support.

The following are TestComplete's limitations:

1)TestComplete does not support running tests in remote environments for Electron and CEF applications.

2)Unlike traditional online tests, TestComplete does not provide unique script objects or third-party web controls in cross-platform web testing.

3)Object Spy does not help you find objects in the object browser.

4)We may access properties, methods, and native attributes of the tested web page and execute Javascript expressions on the page in cross-platform web tests.

5)Test Visualizer never collects data from the implicit characteristics of the tested images that it takes.

6)In remote environments, only desktop versions of web browsers are supported for performing test cases that use OCR to recognise web items based on their text contents.

7)When our tested web application runs in a distant environment, its appearance may differ from that on our local desktop computer.

Thus some of the limitations of the TestCompelte are explained above. To know more about the TestCompelete, join Testcomplete Online Training at FITA Academy.
