There are three setup procedures that are available to you as soon as you receive the Wavlink extender. The WPS, web, and WiFi app setup procedures are as follows. You can pick any of those, however, your current router must have the WPS button if you want to use the first one. If not, you will need to select alternative methods for the Wavlink AC1200 setup, which serves the same goal. Let's begin with the second way, which is web-based, and enter the setup window on your laptop or mobile device. 

To access the login page first, enter the extender's web or IP address into the search engine and press Enter. Enter the extender's login and password on that page, starting with the default information for the first time. After entering the network's password in the field, select the network from the list of wireless networks and extend it. Use them perfectly since later on, the device screen will start leading you through the process to completion. On the other hand, after downloading the Wavlink WiFi app to your smartphone, you can perform the same procedure there.
