Today, we need a strategy for higher education, as referred to in article 8 of Law 21,091, that is articulated and cooperative with the accreditation system. Otherwise, the efforts we all make to ensure quality will not be sufficient or closely aligned with this strategy. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen IES staff in the continuous improvement of their work and in fully supporting the role and responsibilities of the CNA. Quality and its continuous improvement are facilitating elements, and the new accreditation model represents an opportunity to develop a strategy for the development of higher education and how we hope it will contribute to achieving quality of life in a developed country.
